Reflection: In each of these courses I learned something new. In Spanish 315 I had the opportunity to take this course with a teacher who had came from Peru, Carlos Arrizalabaga. I learned and practiced my translation skills, we got to start off with translating Spanish literacy into english. The translation of a book or any other writing is difficult because english and Spanish do not have some of the same grammar or words that can translate exactly to the same meaning. For the final project I chose to translate a chapter of The Fault in our Stars a fiction book. In Spanish 307 I got to practice and learn more about the country of Mexico. This class taught me to see myself and be in the lives of the people who live in that country. We learned a lot about the Mexican Revolution and the relationship of Mexico and the United States.
