Reflection: In this course I got to learn a lot about the Alisal Community. A community in Salinas, Ca where it is known as dangerous or bad neighborhood. Coming from a hispanic community I was really excited to learn and discover this community. Especially since I didn't really know anyone or know any places around the campus. This was also a great experience for me to learn about the minorities in the Monterey county. I learned a lot and gave me patience with the kids and made me connect more to the community. |
